Colorino
This
wine is obtained from Colorino del Corno grapes produced in our
vineyards. The vines grow on our hills at 300 metres above sea level,
with exposure to the south-west. The harvest takes place between
the first and second weeks of October, followed by the traditional
vinification period required for high quality grapes.
The wine is aged in a ‘barriques’ for 12 months and,
is then refined for a further 12 months in the bottle. The result
is a wine with a very intense ruby, deep in colour with light red
hints. The bouquet is broad, complex, fruity, with notes of red
wild berries, one sensation of wood and spices like cinnamon and
vanilla. This wine, with great tannic structure is soft, pulpy,
round rich, elegant and persistent.
Accompanies red meat, game, ripe cheese
